My Reviews
The interesting thing about reviews is that they can be quite speculative and can reflect the emotions of the day….also the moods of the dining party and the company we are keeping.
It is no surprise to those who know me that I love food. I love everything about it, the flavours and textures. I am at home in a kitchen and behind a stove and this section is about my sharing of experiences and about where I love to dine. This is not a paid endorsement but more of an acknowledgement of great experiences in culinary achievement and a celebration of what I like.
This month I would like to start with some gems from Aussie and will in the next month highlight some great dining experiences in NZ.
Having been to Melbourne a couple of times over the last few years I have found and savored some interesting moments...
O’ Sarracino Ristorante Italiano, – Mt Eden Road, Auckland
Lamb on chapel, 394 Chapel Street, South Yarra, Melbourne
Jims Greek Taverna, 32 Johnston Street, Collingwood, Melbourne
Campos, 192 Missenden Road, Newton, Sydney
Santhiya's South Indian & Malaysian Restaurant, 1270 Dominion Road Mount Roskill, Auckland
Sri Intan Malaysian & Vietnamese Cuisine, 945 New North Road, Mt Albert, Auckland
And remember - “You’re only as good as your last meal”

Disclaimer –
The following reviews are personal to me and my experiences whilst dining in the restaurants and cafes. I have not solicited funds or any favours in response for a review and all places written about have had no idea of a pending review. Each place had been visited numerous times (unless mentioned otherwise) and the experience had been consistent. The fact that I mention them is so that you can enjoy different cuisine experiences without a sense of knowing that someone else dared to go there first.
If you dine out at any of the recommended places and find yourself thinking differently (possibly the next morning) then please let them know….! And myself also please.
